Okay, I have about 5 minutes to write this before my laptop dies…and I’m not going downstairs to get the plug because I need to work out.
YES. I know that seems contradictory, but if I go downstairs to get the plug, then I’ll remember that I forgot to turn on the dishwasher, and then I’ll notice that I didn’t wash the countertop in one spot, and then I’ll remember that I need to put some clothes in the washer, and then I’ll forget why I came down in the first place! And after all that, it’ll be time to get ready for bed.
SO. Here are three things I’ve been needing to say for the past week (or two–no time to go look when my last post was):
1. This blog is about the JOURNEY from setting to accomplishing goals. It’s not really about the marathon. It’s about what it takes to get to the marathon.
2. This blog won’t always be about running. I don’t always feel like talking about running. But I want to add value to the world. I want to focus on the journey (see first item in list)–whatever that journey might be.
3. I am sorry I swore off half marathons. I take it back. I wasn’t feeling good at the time. I ran the My Better Half Marathon on Sunday (see photo above), and had a fabulous time and didn’t get sick after. Sore? Yes. Sick? No. Race report coming soon. (No really, I swear!)
