A Post from Captain Obvious

  • Kerrie
Mel found this for me. It goes with my HTC nickname.
Obviously. See it here.

(Captain Obvious is my Nuun Platuun nickname for Hood to Coast. In case you didn’t know.)

-Pushups are hard.

-Running twice in one day will make you very hungry. So hungry you will make an apple pie…the day after you make an apple crisp. (To be fair, a branch on our apple tree broke and we have a ton of apples to use.) I ran a 2-a-day yesterday, just to see what it’s like. Four miles outside at about 6:30 a.m. followed by Jillian Michaels 30-Day Shred Level 1 (see above). Two miles inside on the treadmill at about 2:30 p.m. My legs felt fine. Uneventful. Friend me on DailyMile HERE.

-I need ideas for Hood to Coast van decor for Team Nuun Platuun. (Military theme.) By the way, you can follow Team Nuun Platuun on Twitter now: @nuunplatuun.

-I am busy, so this post is short.

-push ups are hard, but what they do for the girls…purely awesome :)-great way to avoid wasting food ;)-decor ideas- pipecleaner barbed wire, because um real barbed wire might scratch (obviously), hunter netting, a bull horn to yell at everyone to drop and give you 20…-lastly, thank you for the Nuun water bottle and tablets. I don't know who was more excited me or my boys 🙂

Check out our pics from the relay this weekend. It was a blast! http://carpcorner.blogspot.com/2011/08/s2s-relay.htmlOne cool thing that I saw (but we didn't do) were lights INSIDE the van. At night it looked so cool!Another thing were tassles hanging off the handles and bumpers. Too cute!

Yes, you need to buy that shirt. Pushups never seem to get easier. Hmpf.

Ok, you need some netting and fake foliage for the van! Anything camo, right? Maybe hit up your local Army Surplus store? There is one by me on 1st & Lander (by Home Depot)…

I actually bought that shirt after you posted it because my friends always called me that because of my slight sarcastic nature when pointing things out. LOL!! Plus I am a slight comic book geek. I loved it!! So from one Captain Obvious to another I salute you!! Your team is going to have a blast. You ladies are all awesome. I love your blogs.
