Breaking News! Nuun Hood to Coast Application Time has Begun!
I ran 4.5 miles today. It went well — felt fairly easy, but then I came home and saw I did it at an 8:32 pace. BUT WHO CARES?! IT’S NUUN HOOD TO COAST RELAY APPLICATION SUBMISSION TIME!!!!
You just have to be a female runner with an active blog to apply. There will be THREE teams this year. I cannot explain to you how much this relay changed me as a runner. I felt valid afterward. Not that I didn’t feel like a runner before, I just felt like I’d gone through some sort of rite of passage. You can read my recaps here: PART I, PART II, PART III, PART IV. Unfortunately, when I moved my blog from Blogger to WordPress some of the photos didn’t make it on the truck appartently. I haven’t had a chance to re-insert them.

Ohhh it looks soo fun!! I want to apply!! But I don’t think I can and I don’t think I would get in anyway, don’t you have to have a blog with LOTS of followers? I only have 15. I hope you get to do it again!! It looks like so much freaking fun!!!
