Day 148: Up Late on Jingle Bell 5K Eve

Tonight was the second work-related Christmas party in a row. The second night of paying a babysitter. The second night of dressing up to go out. (Sadly, we wore the same outfits to both parties because we don’t have a lot of “go out” clothes! Pathetic.)

We had another busy day today, driving all over the Puget Sound. I haven’t had any time to get ready for tomorrow’s race. In fact, Zoë did me a HUGE favor and picked up my race packet today. She’s such a life-saver! When I think about everything I’ve had to do this weekend, I am so relieved that all that’s scheduled for Sunday is to run a 5K! The rest of the day, I can just relax, wrap presents, watch football and forget about the minivan.

I’ll be picking up Zoë in the morning (in Mr. T’s car, of course) and heading into Seattle for the Jingle Bell Run. I’m excited we are heading to the race together. It’s always more fun when you go with a friend!
