Oh yeah, now I remember why I didn’t used to take T Junior for a walk in the morning: He falls asleep in the stroller.
If you’re a parent, you know why this is a problem: the morning nap. Often, if a child sleeps in the carseat or the stroller for even 5-10 minutes before their nap, they think they don’t need a real one when they get home.
I think I’m going to get lucky today, though (*knocking on wood here that I’m not jinxing myself*), because I put him in his bed and I don’t any more noise (after a couple minutes of chatting to himself).
This morning’s run was much better than yesterday. It was 35 minutes today. And, I can actually call it a run as more than 50% of the trip involved at least jogging. It felt great. I feel good. I even stretched during my warm up and stretched when I was done. Then, I topped it off with some more crunches on the ball: 45. Those were harder to do today since I’m sore, but I powered through it.
Oh, and my back feels pretty good, too. On the run, I felt an occasional stab, but it wasn’t painful enough to take my breath away or to make me want to stop, and after a bit it disappeared. Yay!
There is one thing I don’t like about this training thing so far.
My rear end.
It jiggles.
A lot.
It’s embarrassing. I hope it just feels worse than it actually is.
