My workouts haven’t been very exciting or interesting lately. I think that’s a good thing. I suppose I’ve just gotten used to running or walking almost every day. It’s been two months!
Today, I did a 2-mile walk with a neighbor. It just so happened she was coming out of her front door as I was passing her house, so we pushed our babies in their jogging strollers along on the trail, and chatted.
I can’t say this enough: It’s so awesome having another adult to work out with. It helps pass the time, and it’s more fun!
Speaking of time, I’m about to have less of it. My boss, this afternoon, asked me if I’d be available to work another day every week. That means I am going to have to figure out how to do Tuesday’s 3-mile run, which I moved to Wednesday, after a full day of writing. After picking up T Junior at day care, after giving him a snack and after letting the dogs out to go potty, etc. And, if you’ve ever read this blog before, you know that’s not always as simple as it sounds. Maybe I should move my run back to Tuesday.
I guess I could try jogging during my lunch hour, but I get pretty stinky. I think things are gonna get interesting again…and not in a good way.

It is so much better with people, isn't it?Sometimes though I feel I want to be solo, but have my friends out there.I'm tackling 6kms tomorrow and I want my buddies to be there, but to leave me so I can listen to my audio book or some music to try and block some of the pain…! ps loved your running story! 🙂
