I think I’m addicted. I had such a good time running the Issaquah Salmon Days 10k that now I’m hungry for more races. My next one is a biggie (the Seattle Half on Nov. 29), but I’m wondering if there are some smaller, shorter ones in between now and then. Anyone know?
Usually I would be running today, but I’m not. I am resting. Tonight, I will do the stretching and strengthening I normally do on Tuesday. I’m a tiny bit sore. Not bad, though. I stretched after the race yesterday, then again when I got home. I also stretched before bed. And, I drank water. So, I think I did okay.
Tomorrow, I will do my normal Monday run during my lunch hour. I’m getting nervous about where I am on the schedule. I don’t know if I’m supposed to do 3.5 or 4 miles.
PS: T Junior did the cutest “running related” thing yesterday: Nunning.

I can't wait to read about your 10km! I wish I could help with the race thing, but sadly am a world away.I know what you mean though – aren't races the biggest buzz?
Go to Active.com….there are a few things coming up. The Frightfest 1/2 Marathon I am doing on Halloween includes other distances as well…the 10 miler might be a good match for you???I know there is a 5K in Puyallup this weekend. Not sure exactly where you live but if you need more ideas let me know.
There's a 10K & 5K race this Saturday in the afternoon for Down Syndrome in Enumclaw. It's $25 registration day of. I know you're a Coug (and I'll let that slide!) but the Dawg Dash is on Oct. 18th at 9:30am (10K or 5K) at Husky Stadium. Oh, and you should totally check out IBeatJohnCurley.com to find other local races (and sign up to beat John Curley too!). :)You caught the bug!
