Foiled Again!

  • Kerrie

Nap time totally threw my schedule on Wednesday, so I wasn’t about to let it mess me up again today.

I was so tempted to put my running gear on as soon as T Junior was done with his Eggo, cottage cheese, blueberries and half a banana this morning. But Mr. T hadn’t left for work, yet, so I resisted getting ready. I knew by the time he left, T Junior would be ready for a nap.

Guess what? I was totally right. He’s down now. For how long, nobody knows. Wednesday he didn’t get up until noon and he went down at 9:30! So, I was all dressed on Wednesday, but by the time he got up, I had to change into my day-mommy clothes because I had errands to run.

But it all worked out in the end.

Today, I don’t have errands, so I’ll get ready for my run while he naps. That way I’ll have two options: 1) If he wakes up around snack time, he can have a couple Ritz crackers and a cheese stick in the BOB, and 2) If he wakes up around lunch time, he can eat first and then we’ll go. Either way, I should eat my lunch earlier. I don’t like running with a lot of food in my stomach. (See how much pre-planning moms have to do for something as simple as a run?)

It’s overcast right now. I hope the clouds stick around until whenever we get out there!
