Just In Time for the Mustache Dache 5K

  • Kerrie

You know what’s awesome? Waking up and realizing you can only move your head by swiveling at your torso. Not only is this a very cool look, but it’s also super convenient.

It’s the week of a race, of course. Naturally. My neck and shoulder are still all seized up. The reason: Being old. Because there’s really no other explanation for it. Except maybe this one: I did an hour ride on the trainer on Saturday, which does not face the television, so I had my head turned to the right the whole time watching college football. That could be it.

The bike has since changed directions.

I’m going try to ride again today since I can’t run. Only 5 days till the Mustache Dache 5K (sign up to race or volunteer!) and I can’t swing my right arm. Also, I missed my last long run for the half coming up in less than two weeks.

This shoulder better shape up or…it is just going to have to come off.

That sucks!! I hope it gets better soon. I messed up my neck by turning my head in the shower not too long ago. That made me feel old 🙁
