Run – Walk – Run: Jeff Galloway’s Acceleration Glider Drill

  • Kerrie

At some point, everyone wants to get faster. Don’t say you don’t want to. Just remember to do it safely. Here’s a great tip from Olympian Jeff Galloway that’ll help your body get used to getting faster.

Summary:
The Jeff Galloway Acceleration – Glider Drill performed once a week will help you become faster and go the distance. This interval training drill teaches you to increase speed during your workout and gently move into a gliding stride.

Thanks to RunDisney for asking me to post these great videos! I learned a lot of new things. Hope everyone else did, too!

Very cool drill. Easy enough too. I think I'll work this into my Tuesday easy runs. Thanks!

Thanks, Glenn. I know. I totally tried it during my long run on Sunday and I finished the run faster than when I started.

I LOVE the Jeff Galloway method and use it for half's and marathons; and sometimes just when I want to! Good stuff! Thanks for sharing! Winks & Smiles,Wifey
