Seattle Rock ‘N’ Roll Full Marathon Goals

  • Kerrie

Wondering what my goals are for Seattle Rock ‘N’ Roll?

Then you clearly are not busy enough! You know what will keep you busy? Brooks Facebook page HERE and all the fun photos from today’s Rock ‘N’ Roll Expo. You might even see some people you recognize. *wink*

Also, I’m not really sure what my goals are. Finishing would be nice…

Zoë and I are running together. (Which means I switched to CORRAL 16.)

And, well, it’s our first marathon. We want to enjoy ourselves. But we also don’t want to run aimlessly. We have some lofty-ish goals in mind. I’d rather shoot for something a wee bit faster and “leave it all on the course” as they say, than run too slow and then wonder “what could I have done.” This might be my only marathon. Who knows.

My main goal is to quote this video throughout the race. Hehehe. Get ready, Zoë.
-“THANK YOU, ROB THOMAS!”
-“Second wind. Heeeeere it is!”
-“Don’t pants your poop, don’t pants your poop…”
-“I’m really doin’ it!”

Good luck!! I'm loving that video…might have to repost that one.I'm signed up to do my first marathon this November so I totally understand the whole “this might be my only marathon” thing…though I've heard that changes once you cross the finish line, or at least a week or so later when you can walk again ;)You'll do great! Just don't pants your poop.
